I am sad to announce some terrible news, Lois Yasay, one of the runners and publisher extraordinaire of We Are Sole Sisters was denied a Spanish visa twice. TWICE.
Therefore, she can’t enter Spain and join us on this adventure.
We are disappointed that the Spanish government could ever deem Lois some kind of threat and would overstay her visa. She provided proof of returning the Philippines and still that wasn’t sufficient.
Why this is the case is completely beyond me.
Our plan is to soldier on and run even harder and faster for her. She is with us in spirit.
For a full account of her story, read it on blog.

I’ll be cheering you girls on! This is one awesome experience for all women out there! Thanks for letting me be a part of it!
My 2 daughters and son ran with the bulls for the 1st 3 days. Sara was wearing a yellow ball cap and Brittany a lime green one. Perhaps you saw them? Anyway, they both agree that it was exhilarating and they loved it!
Wow, good for them! It’s so hard to ‘see’ people because thee are literally hundreds or thousands who run each day. Glad they liked it!

Oh that is such a bitter disappointment and I imagine scary and infuriating to be denied a visa.
